First Lady Jill Biden to visit Asheville, Fayetteville and Cary on Friday

Election Day is less than two weeks away.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. — First Lady Jill Biden will visit multiple North Carolina cities Friday, according to the White House.

She will begin her day in Asheville to "meet with community members and volunteers following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene."

Biden will next travel to Fayetteville, where she will hold a political event. From there, she will go to Cary for another political event.

Senator J.D. Vance, running mate of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, is visiting both Monroe and Raeford on Friday to campaign. Trump was in Greensboro on Tuesday after spending Monday in Asheville, Concord and Greeneville.

Democratic presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris was last in North Carolina on Oct. 13, when she held a campaign event in Greeneville.

Former President Barack Obama will campaign for Harris in Charlotte on Friday.
