Donald Trump in Greensboro Tuesday

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Donald Trump will be hosting a rally in Greensboro Tuesday.

The rally will take place in the Special Events Center at First Horizon Coliseum at 7 p.m.

Those interested in watching Trump's remarks can watch the event live from this story, on the WFMY News 2 homepage, our YouTube channel and on our streaming service WFMY+.

The former president's visit to Greensboro is part of a four-stop blitz in North Carolina over the last 24 hours. Trump visited Asheville, Concord, and Greenville on Monday.

He was last in Greensboro back in March, where he held a rally at the Coliseum ahead of the primaries. The Coliseum was so packed, traffic advisories were sent out to areas near Gate City Boulevard - similar to when Vice President Kamala Harris visited the Coliseum earlier this year.

On Monday, Trump toured the lingering devastation in the mountains during a visit to Asheville.

He then went down east to hold a visit with faith leaders in Greenville before a rally in Concord. That's where he further discussed religion and gender, and then concluded with a promise to parents for more freedom when it comes to schooling.

"I will deliver universal school choice, empowering every parent to send their child to a public, private, charter, or religious school that is right for them," he said.

He also said he would allow parents who home-school their children to spend $10,000 a year, tax free, on costs associated with education.

Harris is focusing on attracting Republican voters who might be unhappy with Trump. She was in Michigan and Pennsylvania on Monday. She stuck to many of the same talking points she's had throughout her campaign.

She said she believes her plans are better for working Americans. She also said that with abortion on the ballot, the American people will vote for freedom, even if that means voting for a different political party.

"When the issue of the freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body is on the ballot, the American people vote for freedom, regardless of the party with which they're registered to vote," she said.

Harris does not have any stops booked in North Carolina as of now, but former President Barack Obama will be in Charlotte on Friday to campaign for her.
