Former President Trump scheduled to speak in Asheboro Wednesday

The announcement comes days after Trump spoke in Asheville.

ASHEBORO, N.C. — Former president Donald Trump and his running mate, J.D. Vance are scheduled to speak in Asheboro on Wednesday, Aug. 21 according to a release from his campaign.

The release said they will deliver remarks about national security.

The event will be held at the North Carolina Aviation Museum & Hall of Fame. Doors open at 11 a.m., with Trump delivering remarks at 2 p.m.

This is Trump's third visit to North Carolina in the past month. He spoke in Charlotte on July 24 and in Asheville on Aug. 14.
