SATURDAY ONLY! Adopt a dog or cat for FREE from Guilford County Animal Shelter from noon-6 p.m. Then on Sunday, you can "name your price."

GREENSBORO, N.C. -- You can adopt a cat or dog for FREE this Saturday, August 18 from the Guilford County Animal Shelter.

The adoption special is part of a nationwide effort to find homeless pets their forever homes and empty the shelters.

The FREE adoptions are happening from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday only.

On Sunday, August 19, you can "name your price" between 1-5 p.m.
