CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Friday, the North Carolina Tar Heels will start their hunt for a second national title in three seasons.
Carolina begins its 50th NCAA Tournament as the No. 1 seed in the Midwest Region, and one of the secrets to the team's success has been All-ACC Freshman Team selection Coby White.
Earlier this season, White sat down with WFMY News 2's Patrick Wright for one minute of rapid fire questions. The two covered everything from basketball to hairstyles.
You can find a full transcript of the interview below:
PW: Coby, you ready?
CW: Yeah.
PW: Favorite spot on campus?
CW: The Pit.
PW: Favorite spot on the court?
CW: Three-point line.
PW: Alright, this is an important one: Hair out or hair back?
CW: Out.
PW: Which Coby is better?
CW: I’m going to go out, I’m going to go out.
PW: Ok, everybody wants to know that one. What’s the first song on your pregame playlist?

PW: Your favorite Roy Williams quote?
CW: Ah, that’s tough. I’ve got a bunch of them, but I can’t think of them right now. We’ve got to skip that one.
PW: OK, we’ll keep moving. Your nickname as a kid?
CW: "Coby," because my real name is Alec.
PW: What’s your goal this season?
CW: Win the national championship.
PW: What team do you look forward to playing most?
CW: Duke, of course, Duke.
PW: What’s something that people wouldn’t know about you?
CW: That my real name is Alec, and it’s not Coby. A lot of people think it’s Coby.
PW: It’s your first season at UNC. Explain it in one word.
CW: Fun.
