Police: Can't Rule out Possibility Relisha Rudd was Killed

The FBI along with police in Washington, D.C. are still searching for missing 8-year-old Relisha Rudd. She is believed to be travelling with 51-year-old Kahlil Tatum, right.

WASHINGTON-- According to FBI spokeswoman Jacqueline MagGuire, police are searching Kenilworth Park in Northeast, D.C. in relation to the Relisha Rudd case.

The FBI has confirmed that they have officers searching the area. They are out there with members of the Metropolitan Police Department as part of continuing investigation into the disappearance of Relisha Rudd.

WUSA9's Nikki Burdine says officers are searching in the woods with dogs.

The FBI placed Kahlil Malik Tatum on its Most Wanted list for murder on Wednesday. He is believed to be traveling with missing 8-year-old Relisha Rudd of Washington, D.C.

An Amber Alert was issued for Relisha on March 20.

Law enforcement officials said that Tatum may be in or have traveled through the Atlanta, Ga. area. He is believed to have ties to the area. Digital signs along Atlanta freeways are flashing a description of Tatum, who is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his wife, Andrea. He has also been charged by the United States Attorney's Office in Maryland for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.

In a news conference Thursday, police provided an update and possible timeline on case
