EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (AP) — The Los Angeles Kings have re-signed defenseman Brayden McNabb to a two-year contract.
The Kings announced the deal Saturday.
McNabb has been a dependable presence on defense the past two seasons, scoring 38 points in 152 games. He had two goals and 12 assists with 92 penalty minutes in 81 games last season for Los Angeles, missing only the regular-season opener.
The Kings acquired McNabb in March 2014 in a trade with the Buffalo Sabres, who drafted him in the third round in 2009.
