It's hard to say goodbye.
On the Dancing with the Stars semi-finals Monday night, we had to say farewell to two amazing couples, which did nothing for our case of the Mondays, btw. Sigh...
Before the tragic double-elimination, the five partners performed two routines each. One per usual, and the other was a trio number that included an additional professional dancer.
It was a truly difficult choice—like picking just one of the Hemsworth brothers—but here are our top 5 dances of the night:
1. Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd
Nyle and Peta danced the Argentine tango while Nyle was blindfolded. He said he normally just counts in his head to stay with time so he wanted to see if he could further challenge himself. Judge Bruno Tonioli called it the performance of the night, and we agree.
Total score: 30
2. Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas
Did anyone else have to crank the AC after this performance? Paige and Mark's Argentine tango was hotter than some of the episodes of The Girlfriend Experience. We're seriously surprised it didn't set off the sprinklers in the ballroom, but we guess if they haven't gone off anytime a Chmerkovskiy brother has taken his shirt off, they must not be that sensitive.
Total score: 29
3. Wanyá Morris, Lindsay Arnold, and Witney Carson
During rehearsals, Wanyá cried because he slipped on Lindsay's bandanna last week, and his scores suffered. This week, he requested props not be a part of their routine.
Lindsay and Witney looked like beautiful red dress lady emojis come to life during their paso doble, and we'd seriously like their gowns if the DWTS people are done with them.
Total score: 30
4. Wanyá and Lindsay (Yes, again.)
We can't help it. We love us some Wanyá. The Boyz II Men singer and his partner nailed this speedy Charleston. Carrie Ann Inaba called Wanyá her hero and said his feet were electric.
Total score: 30
5. Antonio Brown and Sharna Burgess
Antonio is another DWTS contestant who just lights up the room, and we want to put everything he says on a motivational poster. Bruno said this performance was the Pittsburgh Steelers' best yet, and Len Goodman said the routine had the best lifts he'd ever seen on the show.
Total score: 28
The double-elimination
Get ready to put your finger on the heartbreak emoji—and maybe the crying one now that we think about it. Antonio and Sharna and Wanyá and Lindsay were knocked out of the competition. This game is tough isn't it?
Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy, Nyle and Peta, and Paige and Mark are going to the finals.

DWTS will conclude next week. The show will air on Monday at 8 p.m. ET (before the premiere of The Bachelorette) and Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET. Also, get excited because Pitbull and Aloe Blacc are set to perform.
