Richard Lheureux took home over $70,000 after taxes

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Randolph County man won big on Tuesday after he tried his luck on a $20 scratch-off ticket.

Richard Lheureux, of Liberty, won a $100,000 prize, according to the NC Education Lottery. Lheureux purchased his Instant Millions ticket from the Kangaroo Express on East Swannanoa Ave. in Liberty.
