FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — A person in North Carolina is now a millionaire after Tuesday's Mega Millions drawing.
The lucky $2 ticket was bought using Online Play in Fayetteville.
The NC winner is one of two who won a million dollars nationally- another person won in Massachusetts.
A few others in NC also won big. Three people won $10,000.
The tickets were purchased from the following locations:
- At the Han-Dee Hugo’s on Buffaloe Road in Raleigh
- In Asheville using Online Play
- At the Smoker Friendly on Pinewood Plaza Drive in Granite Falls
The jackpot for Friday increases to $792 million since no one won Tuesday's jackpot.
