HIGH POINT, N.C. — A North Carolina man took home lots of cash on Saturday!

Joseph Tetreault of Wagram in Scotland County was among 12 lucky Ultimate Dash Challenge Event participants at the Charlotte Motor Speedway, according to the NC Education Lottery.

The participants entered their Ultimate Dash scratch-off tickets in a second-chance drawing for the chance to compete. They had 90 seconds to race through the speedway warehouse to collect as much merchandise as possible.

Tetreault got the chance to spin a big prize wheel after the dash!

He won a $170,000 prize!

Tetreault said he was going to spend the winnings on his family.

“I’ve got nine grandkids so I’m going to take care of them,” he said.

A woman from the Triad was also able to participate in the event!

Mary Voss of High Point had just bought a house in recent weeks. She said the Dash came at the perfect time.

“This is a life-changing experience for me,” she said. “I just got my new house and so my strategy was to pick out all things I knew I needed for the house.”

You can enter your Ultimate Dash scratch-offs online for a chance to compete in next year's event!
