KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — We have a winner!?

Craig Adolff of Kernersville took a chance on a $3 Mega Millions ticket and it worked out in his favor!

Using Online Play, Adolff bought his lucky Quick Pick ticket for the April 23 drawing. By matching all five white balls, he won $1 million, and thanks to the 4X Megaplier, his prize quadrupled to $4 million.

The largest national prize won in the drawing was $4 million. The odds of matching all five white balls are 1 in 12.6 million.

Adolff took home $2,860,001 after taxes.

North Carolinians have a chance in Friday’s Mega Millions drawing to win a $331 million prize. A winner could take home the jackpot as an annuity or $153.1 million in cash.
