MOUNT AIRY, N.C. — A Surry County man is now thousands of dollars richer.
Lindy Inman of Mount Airy turned $5 into $250,000 when he purchased his scratch-off ticket and won!
Inman bought his lucky 20X The Cash ticket from R Stop on West Pine Street.
He claimed the prize at lottery headquarters and after taxes took home $178,751 Tuesday.
The 20X The Cash game debuted in February with 10 $250,000 top prizes. Five $250,000 prizes remain to be claimed.
