GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — One man in Guilford County is $100,000 richer.
Casey Shaffer from High Point bought a $30 scratch-off that won him the $100,000 prize.
He purchased his lucky ticket at Murphy USA on Halltown Road in Spruce Pine.
He claimed his prize Friday and after taxes took home $71,259.
