GREENSBORO, N.C. — Check your tickets! You could be sitting on a winning lottery ticket.

At least two people are walking around with a winning ticket they bought in North Carolina—one was sold at Publix on West Gate City Boulevard for the December 25, 2023, Powerball drawing. It was a $100,000 prize. The ticket will expire on June 22, but since that's a Saturday, the winner has until Monday, June 24 at 5 p.m. to cash in the prize.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 25 drawing were:

5-12-20-24-29 and Powerball of 4

The other ticket was sold at the 7-Eleven on Idlewild Road in Stallings, Union County, on Dec. 30, 2023. The winning ticket has a $200,000 prize. That ticket expires on Thursday, June 27.

The winning numbers for the Dec. 30 drawing were:

10-11-26-27-34 and Powerball of 7

“We are urging everyone who plays Powerball, especially in these areas, to check all the tickets they have to see if they own the winning tickets,” said Mark Michalko, executive director of the N.C. Education Lottery. “We all have our fingers crossed that the winning tickets will be found so we can present big checks to the two winners.”
