WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- A silver alert for Jamaal Phillip Dawson has been cancelled, officials said Saturday.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Police are asking the public's help in finding a Winston-Salem man.
Winston-Salem police issued a silver alert for Mr. Jamaal Phillips Dawson. Mr. Dawson's mother told police she has not seen him in approximately 2-3 months.
Police said Mr. Dawson is homeless and was last seen at his mother's home on Stonewall Street in February 2015.
Mr. Dawson has Schizophrenia and other medical issues, officials said. He was last seen wearing black sweatpants and red, white, and black athletic shoes. He is about 5'11 and 125 lbs and possibly still has a mustache and short beard.
Officers said they have checked the local homeless shelter but still haven't found him.
