Alamance County, NC-- Detectives in Alamance County have charged a woman in connectionwith a murder. The charges are related to an investigation that started in March, after the discovery of a man's body.
On March 29, investigators were alerted to a body on some propertyon Louis Graham Road in northern Alamance County. Officers didn't learn the identity of the victim until days later when they released a composite. The body was identified as Kenneth Clapp.
Thursday, June 27,29-year-old Ebony Nyiesha Franklin of Greensboro was charged in connection to the murder of the victim. She was charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder relating to the Clapp's death.
Franklin's arrest is thefifth in the case. Four other persons,Cameron Romero Graves and Marteese Rasheed Martin have been charged with First Degree Murder. Solomon Gerard Tate and Phillip Jerome Tate have been charged with Accessory After the Fact of Murder.
According to detectives, Franklin is reportedly the girlfriend of Cameron Graves. She was placed in the Alamance County Detention center under a secured bond of $70,000 pending her first appearance in Alamance County District Court.
