WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — The Winston-Salem Fire Department responded to the Sunrise Towers apartment complex on North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive Tuesday afternoon, according to a post on X.
Units were dispatched after a fire alarm went off on the seventh floor, the post said. Firefighters "encountered fire conditions in one of the units" on the floor.
The Winston-Salem Fire Department said South Martin Luther King Jr. Drive is currently closed while they work the fire.
There is no information about any injuries or displacements.
