WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Three people were forced out of their homes after a house fire, according to the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Fire crews said the fire occurred Tuesday afternoon on Emerald Street. They said all three people safely got out of the house. The Red Cross is now helping those involved.
Fire crews said the fire started from unattended cooking.
