Several students taken to a hospital after bus crash in Winston-Salem, police say

Police said several students were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries after a crash involving a school bus on E. Third Street in Winston-Salem.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Multiple students were taken to a hospital after a crash involving a school bus and a Dodge Charger in Winston-Salem, police said.

The Winston-Salem Police Department said it happened at the intersection of E. Third Street and North Cleveland Avenue. A Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school bus was involved in a crash with a Dodge Charger.

WS/FCS said four East Forsyth Middle School students went to the hospital to receive treatment for minor injuries. They have all since been released.

The driver of a Dodge Charger was cited for several traffic violations,  according to police.
