WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Eight people are displaced after an apartment fire in Winston-Salem, according to the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
One person was injured in the blaze on the 100 block of Williamsburg Ct., firefighters said. Of the eight displaced, six of them are children.
Firefighters said the fire was caused by unattended cooking.
