CLEMMONS, N.C. — A Clemmons man will compete on Wheel of Fortune on Tuesday, June 4!
David Sorenson said he applied to be on the game show during WWEweek, submitting an audition video as his favorite wrestler.
"It was so much fun, it was a dream come true," said Sorenson. "Having an audience, being live, being on camera, having Pat to your right and Vanna in front of you with the puzzle board that was just all so surreal."
To add to the excitement, this is Pat Sajak's last week as the host.
"I just remember walking into the Wheel of Fortune set and it is decorated so beautifully done and so elegant and it's just a fantastic scene. And it just took my breath away because so realized this is the Wheel of Fortune set and this is his [Sajak's] retirement party that we are a part of," remembered Sorenson.
