WFMY Welcomes New Faces To Weather Team

Robb Ellis and Leigh Brock join Eric and Ed to bring you the latest "Local Weather Now!"

Greensboro, NC -- WFMY News 2 is proud to announce two Carolina natives are joining our talented staff of Local Weather Now meteorologists.Leigh Brock is an AMS certified meteorologist from the Hendersonville, North Carolina. She worked for several years in Allentown, Pennsylvania before returning to her Carolina roots. Leigh is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and Mississippi State. You can watch her forecasts weekend evenings on WFMY News 2 and throughout the week on the Local Weather Now channel 2-2 and digital cable 521.Robb Ellis grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and moved to Raleigh to attend North Carolina State. Robb has worked at the State Climate Office of North Carolina. He also served as a weather anchor on Carolina Week the award-winning student broadcast at UNC-Chapel Hill. The Broadcast Education Association honored Robb with a national award for student weather forecasting. You can watch Robb on the weekend Good Morning Show.
