GREENSBORO, N.C. — Keep the umbrellas handy this week as we'll have a chance for rain each and every day, although some days will be a bit drier than others.
A round of rain will move into the area Sunday night. Showers could linger a little bit into Monday morning, but otherwise, Monday afternoon has ta good chance to be mainly dry. We'll get a little bit of sunshine for Monday afternoon with highs in the 50s.
Tuesday may also be mainly dry during the day, with rain chances increasing as we head into Tuesday evening. The next system will arrive late Tuesday. We'll have to watch the temperatures quite closely, because we'll be cold - mainly in the 30s. It's most likely that we'll see only a cold rain on Tuesday night into Wednesday morning, but it is possible there could be a brief period of wintry mix. We'll be keeping an eye on it. Even if we start Wednesday morning with freezing rain, it should all change over to regular rain by mid morning.
Rain will be moderate to heavy Tuesday night into Wednesday, with chilly temperatures in the mid 30s and 40s. Rain chances will continue through the rest of the week into the weekend.
Overall, we could see between 3 and 5 inches of rain throughout the week. That's more than we usually see in a month. It's possible that some flooding issues could arise, but that's not a sure thing. We'll take it day by day.
