GREENSBORO, N.C. — A water main break closed the Greensboro Police Department and a portion of McGee Street Thursday.
The City of Greensboro said the 700 block of McGee Street is closed from South Cedar Street to South Spring Street due to a 12” water main break.
Weaver Academy was also released at 1:30 p.m.
Three customers are without water. Water main repair work is ongoing and expected to take place throughout the day with water restored on Friday.
Signs and traffic cones are in place and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to avoid the area.
Dates and times could change due to weather or last-minute changes in the work schedule.
