GREENSBORO, N.C. — A water main break has closed a road in Greensboro Saturday, city officials said.

City officials said a water main break on W. Wendover Avenue has left one customer without service and closed the inner westbound and eastbound lanes from Hill Street to Josephine Boyd Street.

City crews are on the scene working on repairs.

Officials said the road is expected to reopen by 10 p.m.

Signs and traffic cones are in place, drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
