WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A person was injured in a crash in Winston-Salem Thursday.
Winston-Salem police said they responded to a crash involving one car, which had turned on its side, on the 1400 block of W. Northwest Boulevard around 3:15 a.m.
When officers arrived they found the driver trapped inside the car.
The Winston-Salem Fire Department also responded and got the driver out of the car.
Officers said the driver was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police said the cause of the crash has not been determined.
The road is closed as repairs are being made to a power pole in the area.
