Vehicle crash in Asheboro leaves cars on top of each other; no reported injuries: East Side Fire Department

ASHEBORO, N.C. — The East Side Fire Department responded to a reported vehicle crash in Asheboro around 7:31 a.m. on Thursday.

The crash happened on NC Highway 42 N. near Patton Ave., according to fire crews. 

When crews arrived at the scene, they found a two-vehicle crash with no injuries. Crews said there was a separate crash that occurred behind the original crash. 

Traffic on NC Highway 42 N. was temporarily shut down while both crashes were cleared. 

The East Side Fire Department said they were assisted by the Asheboro Fire Department.
