RALEIGH, N.C. — A girl was pulled from a swimming pool and rushed to a hospital in Wake County on Saturday night, officials say.
The incident was reported just before 8 p.m. at Chandler Ridge Apartments, which are near Wake Tech Community College along U.S. 401, according to Wake County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Eric Curry.
The 6-year-old girl found in the pool and was breathing, but not conscious, Curry said.
She was rushed to WakeMed Children's Hospital for treatment.
A family member was later located at the apartment complex, which is south of Raleigh, Curry said.
Investigators were at the apartment complex Saturday night looking into the case, Curry said.
