Tyson recalling 'fun nuggets': Text or call to get your full-value replacement coupon

The 29-ounce packages were sold in the frozen section & may contain pliable metal pieces.

GREENSBORO, N.C. — The latest recall includes a kid-favorite and a staple in lots of family freezers: Tyson brand chicken “fun nuggets”.  Tyson is voluntarily recalling these dinosaur-shaped nuggets after some consumers found pliable metal pieces in the product.

The recalled packages were shipped to distributors in Alabama, California, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, Virginia and Wisconsin.

These are 29-ounce bag packages that you find in the frozen section.

The recalled bags have:

Best If Used By: September 4, 2024.

 Lot #’s: 2483BRV0207

              2483BRV0208

              2483BRV0209

              2483BRV0210

You'll find the date and lot numbers together on a red part of the bag.

HOW TO GET YOUR FULL-VALUE REPLACEMENT COUPON

The company website says you should cut the UPC and the date code from the packaging and call or text Tyson at 855-382-3101. You should discard the product.

2 Wants To Know texted Tyson to see what the process would be.

They ask you to send a photo of the UPC, which is the bar code, and a photo of the Best By date to make sure your product is in the recall.

The Tyson text confirmed if the product is in the recall-- you will be sent a full-value replacement coupon.

The USDA says on its website that you can take the product back to the store where you bought it for a refund, but that is not confirmed on the Tyson website. Either way, the main take-a-way is to not use the product, it is all to be thrown away and not consumed.
