Two men arrive at Burlington hospital after shooting, crash evidence found, police say

Burlington police said two men arrived at a nearby hospital with gunshot wounds.

BURLINGTON, N.C. — Burlington police are investigating a shooting and a crash that happened in the area. 

Officers responded to the Westwood Forest Mobile Home Park on Durham Street just before 5 a.m. Wednesday. They found evidence of a shooting, but there were no victims to be found. 

Officers received information that multiple victims were driving themselves to a nearby hospital. 

They found a crashed car on Huffman Mill Road that was taking two men, ages 23 and 24, to the hospital suffering from gunshot wounds. 

The men were placed in critical condition when they got to the hospital.

 There is no other information available at this time as this investigation is ongoing.
