Two men dead after shooting each other in altercation outside club in Clemmons, deputies say

Forsyth Co. Sheriff's Office said the two men shot at each other during an altercation

CLEMMONS, N.C. — Two people are dead after a shooting happened in front of Sherry's A Private Club in Clemmons on Sept. 4, Forsyth County Sheriff's Office says. 

Shortly after midnight, Johnny Lee Spencer, 56, and Jimmie Carlton Radford, 63, were involved in an altercation in front of the club on Stadium Drive. 

During the incident, both men pulled out their guns whereby they shot one another. Spencer died shortly after the incident at the hospital and Radford died on Sept. 8, deputies say. 

No one else was involved in the incident and there are no threats or concerns to the surrounding community.
