ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Former President Donald Trump was in Asheville on Wednesday for a campaign rally.
The event was at Harrah's Cherokee and the doors opened at 1 p.m.
North Carolina is a key battle state for the 2024 Presidential election, which is why both candidates are making stops in NC this week.
During his speech, Trump said he would slash energy prices in half by 12 months- 18 months max if re-elected.
Trump also criticized the Biden's Administration's handling of the border and inflation.
Vice President Kamala Harris will be in Raleigh Friday for her campaign rally.
To ensure the safety and smooth traffic flow, Asheville police reminded all attendees and demonstrators to stay on sidewalks and adhere to traffic regulations.
