KERNERSVILLE, N.C. — A crash involving a church school bus closed a portion of US 421 in Kernersville Thursday.
Kernersville police said a tractor-trailer crashed into the back of an occupied school bus of Triad Baptist Church, pushing the bus into another vehicle shortly before 9:30 a.m. on US421SB/Bus40.
Police said no injuries have been reported at this time.
Both lanes of US421SB were closed for around 15 minutes.
The Kernersville Police Department and Kernersville Fire and Rescue were able to open a lane of travel for the public.
Officers said the road reopened around 10:20 a.m.
Police said there are no pending charges for the involved drivers.
