DAVIDSON COUNTY, N.C. — Three men face charges this morning after investigators tied them to a widespread street takeover ring in the Triad.
Davidson County deputies charged the three suspects with felony inciting a riot.
The group is accused of taking over parking lots and roads and doing donuts and burnouts, last summer. The investigation spanned multiple counties.
Deputies also seized more than a dozen cars, as part of the case.
A state law took effect this year that let investigators go after people who do street takeovers.
