SILER CITY, N.C. — Thousands are in the dark in Siler City Friday.
According to the Duke Energy power outage map, around 1.8 thousand people are without power.
Duke Energy said the outage was caused by fallen trees or limbs damaging their equipment.
Power is estimated to be restored around 5:30 p.m.
