UPDATE: The power is now restored.
Over 2,000 customers are without power in Burlington on June 20, according to Duke Energy.
Duke Energy claims the outages were caused by "an object coming into contact with our power lines,".
The outage is expected to be resolved by 10:15 p.m. on June 20, according to Duke Energy.
