WALNUT COVE, N.C. — A Thomasville High School student and staff member were injured when a South Stokes High School "spectator" allegedly assaulted them after a game Friday, March 8, according to Thomasville City Schools.
The alleged assault happened at South Stokes High School after the NCHSAA Playoff game between South Stokes High and Thomasville High.
The school system said both the student and the staff member received medical attention for their injuries.
The Stokes County Sheriff's Office said they're investigating a report of a disturbance & assault that happened after last Friday’s game.
