ARCHDALE, NC -- Thomas Built Buses is a major manufacturer in the Piedmont Triad and now high school students will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of the industry.
It's all part of the company's Manufacturing Day where 100 students from various high schools will tour the facilities. They'll also meet with company executives and with the Deputy Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
Manufacturing Day is on Friday, April 27 and was created to spread knowledge about manufacturing careers and demonstrate the importance it has on the economy.
