LEXINGTON, N.C. — The Black Crowes were spotted in the Triad!
On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Atlanta-based rock band made a stop at Lexington Barbecue for lunch.
The band is in North Carolina for shows in Wilmington and Durham.
Cathy Bradsher, a waitress at Lexington Barbecue, had this to say about their visit in a comment:
"They ate at Lexington BBQ in 2013..I wasn’t a waitress there at that time..so today it was around 2pm they walked in and sat back in my section..and I just knew that they had to be with a band..they just had to be..so after I got their drinks I asked them if they were with a band..and Chris the lead singer said yes..have you heard of the Black Crowes..and I said oh Yes!! He said they had a concert in Charlotte and since they were so close they couldn’t pass up an opportunity to eat there again!! I asked if I could take a picture of them and they yes and then ask me if I wanted to be in a picture with them? And of course I said yes!!”
It sounds like even rockstars know that sometimes the 'Remedy' is the best barbecue in the U.S.!
