GREENSBORO, N.C. — Got tickets to this week's ACC Tournament in Charlotte? Wanna get there without dealing with the traffic?
NC By Train can get you there without going off the rails when it comes to traffic or parking.
We went to Charlotte on the train and got a round-trip ticket for $47. An Uber ride to the Spectrum Center and back cost $13, and we found tickets for $15 bucks. All-in-all $75 can get you a full ACC experience in Charlotte.
The service offers four daily round trips between Raleigh and Charlotte with seven stops in between, including Cary, Durham, Burlington, Greensboro, High Point, Salisbury and Kannapolis.
Fans can get a free transit pass while on the train and show the pass when boarding a participating transit system’s bus. The pass is good for one ride and one transfer.
