Government Center in Danbury closed after power outage, sheriff says

The Stokes County Government Center will be closed until 8:30 a.m. Wednesday due to a power outage.

STOKES COUNTY, N.C. — A government center is closed after a power outage Tuesday, according to the Stokes County Sheriff's Office. 

The Stokes County Government Center will reopen on Wednesday after a power outage shut down its offices in Danbury, according to deputies. 

The administrative offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m.

The cause of the power outage is unknown at this time.
