HIGH POINT, N.C. — Are you anxious about car theft? The High Point Police Department is looking to help ease your worries.
The police department is giving out free steering wheel locks on Tuesday, Aug. 27 in the Roy B. Culler Senior Center at 921 Eastchester Dr. in High Point. Drivers of Hyundai or Kia vehicles qualify for the wheel lock giveaway, according to the police department.
Police will begin giving out the wheel locks at 7 a.m. until there are no more, and only one wheel lock can be given out per person.
