Head Start center roof catches fire on Brentwood St. in High Point, fire officials say

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

HIGH POINT, N.C. — The fire department said that the roof of a Head Start center in High Point caught on fire Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the 2000 block of Brentwood Street about a building fire. 

When fire crews arrived, they found heavy smoke pouring from the roof of the Staley Center - Guilford Child Development.

High Point Fire Department Chief Evans said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
