Graham, NC -- Detectives with the Alamance County Sheriff's Office and officers withthe US Marshals' Fugitive Task Force, are looking for Jose Guadalupe Ramirez-Ambriz, 38.
Ramirez-Ambriz is wanted on multiple counts of First Degree Statutory Sex Offense with a child under age 13 and Indecent Liberties with a Minor, according to a news release from the Sheriff's Office. The investigation started in February after Detectives were notified by theDepartment of Social Services (DSS). DSS said they were contacted about the case by a school counselor.
Investigators say Ramirez-Ambriz's last known address was on Calloway Dr. in Mebane. They said he goes by other names which areJose Ramires and Jose Guadalupe Ramires.
Ramirez-Ambriz is an undocumented alien with arrests histories in Alamance county, Johnston county and Hendersonville, NC. The sheriff's office said he also has arrest records in the states of Oregon and Utah.
Detectives said they have information that Ramirez-Ambriz may be trying to leave the state and return to Mexico.
