WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — A restaurant caught on fire in Winston-Salem Thursday, according to the Winston-Salem Fire Department.
Fire officials said it happened near East Sprague Street at Taqueria El Ranchero.
Fire investigators said electric wiring issues ignited the fire.
It's unclear how much damage the fire caused, but firefighters said the building wasn't a total loss.
The health department is accessing the business to determine how much food it has to throw out.
No one was hurt.
The 600 block of East Sprague Street and Old Lexington Road is temporarily closed.
Drivers are urged to use caution in the area.
