BURLINGTON, N.C. — A man was arrested after firing multiple shots at a Burlington apartment complex Tuesday evening, according to police.
Officers said the Burlington Communications Center received multiple calls of shots being fired in the parking lot of Brittany Apartments on Huffman Mill Road around 5:40 p.m.
Officers on the scene identified the man as Michael Bissette, 22.
Through investigation, officers determined there was a dispute between Bisette and another resident that escalated once Bisette made verbal threats and fired shots. No one was hurt.
Bisette was placed under arrest and charged with discharging a gun inside the city limits, assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats, and going armed to terrorize the public. He was taken to the Alamance County Detention Center with a $10,000 bond.
