RANDOLPH COUNTY, N.C. — A lockdown issued for Randolph Community College Friday morning appears to have been just a drill. RCC shared details on Facebook beforehand, saying a lockdown drill would be scheduled for Friday morning and students should treat it as a normal event.
When the time came for the drill, RCC posted an alert, looking like the real deal, on social media.
The post read, "ATTENTION: Randolph Community College is on lockdown. DO NOT come to campus. Please be patient and await further information."
