COUNTRY SQUIRE LAKES, Ind. — Two people are recovering after they were struck by lightning Friday in southern Indiana.
According to a post on the Jennings County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, deputies responded to an address in County Squire Lakes for two people who had been hit. Deputies discovered an 18-year-old male and nine-months-pregnant teenage female injured inside a tent outside their residence.
Deputies rendered aid until paramedics arrived. Both victims were treated for their injuries and were listed in serious, but stable condition.
The sheriff's office received information that the baby is OK.
