On the evening of Sunday, April 15, 2018, an EF-2 tornado developed just east of downtown Greensboro. The twister rolled north for 33-miles before dissipating south of Danville, Virginia.
Northeast Greensboro was the hardest hit. The tornado left a path of complete destruction and devastation.
